Trini and Nick are a perfect example of the modern couple with their engagement. They met online, better yet on Tinder (what’s more trendy than that?) and had that instant connection. Their whirlwind romance led to their charming engagement which led them to me. Nick is a firefighter for KC,KS at Station 3 so naturally that’s where we started our session. Trini and Nick have such an endearing relationship and are always smiling at each other, it is easy to see how happy they are. Nick seems to be quite the charmer after all he orchestrated quite the proposal including both families, and hand made (with Trini’s dad) a wrought iron heart with the words “Marry Me” all while Trini wasn’t looking. His attention to detail made it easy to see why Trini fell for the guy holding a rose on their first date at Q39.
After getting great photo at the fire station, we headed to the West Bottoms. They were always making each other laugh and were very laid back. It was very easy to see their emotion which made for some great shots! One thing that I love about these two is their love of food and family which includes their dogs.
We then headed to Liberty Memorial where we added in their dogs Luna, Beau and Bristol. We finished the session with the sunset and a view of the city they call home. It’s one of the most breath taking locations to see the whole city.
Trini and Nick are getting married in October 2017 in Elkhart, Kansas and I’m sure it will be beautiful, emotional and a downright amazing time. I’m so excited to see what the future brings for these two and am truly privileged to have a part in their engagement and in their big day where they will forever become unified as a family!
